A savory favorite, baked with fragrant fresh herbs, a secret touch of Greek yogurt, and finished with a golden-brown crust. Dip it, stack it, or devour it on its own.

Prep Time | 20 to 30 minutes

10 Servings | 1 bread per serving

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp Dried Rosemary
  • 2 1/2 tsp Fresh Thyme, crushed
  • 6 tbsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 1/3 cup Plain Greek Yogurt (or whole milk)
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil (or another neutral-tasting oil)

Directions:

  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, & both dried and fresh herbs.
  • Make well in center, add yogurt & olive oil.
  • Using a wooden spoon or your hands, stir to incorporate wet & dry. 
  • The mixture will look shaggy.
  • Lightly flour work surface, scoop dough onto it, & knead until smooth & uniform.
  • Divide Dough into 8 equal balls, cover with towel, and let rest for 15 minutes.
  • Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball into a 7in circle, about 1/4" thick.
  • Heat 1 1/2 tsp vegetable oil in skillet, and cook 3-4 minutes, flip and cook additional 3 - 4 minutes.
